Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 Ballhead |
|
The Arca Swiss Monoball Z1 Ballhead features: an Aspherical Ball, Axial Clamping and PMF (progressive motion
related friction control). Arca Swiss Monoball Z1 supercedes the B-series ballheads with significant reductions in size, weight and strength. The Z series can support an incredible 122 lb (55.3 kg) off axis
The Z1 Introduces Manfrotto's double panning movement. Besides the standard pan base at the bottom of the head there is also a second panning mechanism below the camera mount.
Due to it's
unique elliptical design the Arca Swiss Monoball eliminates the need to modulate tension, while a separate control is set to apply a constant minimum friction.
The Flip-Lock quick release system also offers a double safety locking feature.

Arca-Swiss C1 Cube w micrometric geared movements in 2 axis $2199.99
Because the camera moves inside the circular arc, object distance and image window are hardly altered. A panorama at the base of the
tripod head serves to align the camera / recording instrument to the object.
Having aligned and levelled the unit, a second panorama, located above the tilting axes permits swivelling movements of
360º without altering the perpendicular. The camera is fastened with the new, patented ARCA-SWISS Flip-lock® quick release system which guarantees secure displacements or quick exchanges of the units by
way of two functions.
In spite of the complexity of the device and the required stability, it has been possible to reduce the dimensional weight by a sensational 63%. It now amounts to only 35 oz /
994 grams. Features Geared X-Y axes with adjustable gear tension. Improved two-stage fliplock quick release lever.
Rubberised knobs easily manipulated in the cold & with gloves. C1 Cube with leather bag, requires Quick Release Plate sold separately |

Arca-Swiss Monoball P1 Ballhead |
|
The first noticeable feature of the new tripod head is the conspicuous absence of the locking knob. Instead you turn the
knurled ring to set the camera without fumbling for the locking knob. The camera is placed directly on the ball and not on its neck.
The P1 ball is surrounded by three locking gears which are
synchronized to apply a uniform force around the ball, thus ensuring a smooth movement of the installed camera in all axis.
The aspherical ball locks the camera tight. The panning system is located
just below the camera mount and constantly ensures a a level panoramic rotation.
The ARCA-SWISS P1 head is available in two versions. Version P1s (single) has a ball tilt range limited to 35° and 360°
panning. Version P1d (double) also offers separate base tilt allowing angles up to 90°, while a second panning mechanism in the base provides a tilt around the tripod fixture axis. |
