The most popular strobe in the Powerlight system is the PL1250UV.
The PL1250UV discharges at f36 @ 10 feet (GN 365, 500 Watt Seconds).
Recycles to full power in only 0.5 seconds with a full power flash duration of 1/1300th of a second.
Power output is stepless over 6 F-stops ( full to 1/32 power, 500 to 16 Watt Seconds).
It is fan cooled and voltage stabilized for greater output consistency.
Sync cord voltage is only 5 volts for compatabilty with modern electronic cameras.
Weight is 5.5lbs (2.5kg). Fan cooled. Built in slave. Voltage stabilized for consistent output.

We offer a variation on the Powerlight PL1250UV called the PL1250DRUV (Digital Remote).
The PL1250DRUV accepts an optional IR remote control unit or Handheld Remote Control (HRC).
These heads are ideal for use high up or at distance when working at a station with firewire for example.
All control functions of "DR" PowerLights are duplicated by the HRC.
Up to 9 heads can be set independantly including control over both power and modelling light settings. |

For those wanting greater power output we offer the Powerlight PL2500DRUV.
The PL2500DRUV discharges at f 50 @ 10 feet (GN 515). The 2500DR series recycles this
amazing output in 0.8 sec. at minimum power or 3 seonds at Maximum power. Flash duration is 1/770 second at full power. They are fan cooled and voltage stabilized for greater
output consistency. Built in optical slave. Power output is stepless over 6 F-stops ( full to 1/32 power, 1000 to 32 Watt Seconds). Sync cord voltage is only 5 volts for compatabilty
