The Pentax 67 75mm f/2.8 AL is the newest lens in the Pentax 67 repertoire.
The AL stands for Aspheric Luxury or Aspheric Lens.
The SMC-P 67 75mm f/2.8 AL is known for high resolution wide open and reaches
extremely high resolution at f/4. There is some coma wide open. Despite its large maximum aperture this wide-angle lens (equivalent to 35mm in 35mm format) is compact and loightweight. Its 75mm focal length produces a
natural perspective, while its minimum focusing distance of 1.35 feet (0.41 meters) produces dramatic close-up images. A hybrid aspherical lens element incorporated into its seven-element, five-group optical system not
only contributes to the reduction of the overall lens size, but also effectively compensates for various kinds of aberrations for clear, true-to-life images.
