Wisner Flight Review

The 4x5 Flight is Wisner's newest and smallest 4x5 Field Camera.

Small is beautiful especially for back packing and hiking and the Flight does not disappoint.

It is constructed of Black American Cherry with a burgundy kid leather bellows.
To keep weight to a minimum the metal support struts
are made of lacquered brass anodized aircraft aluminum.
The geared focus tracks are brass.
At only 3 1/2 pounds you barely notice it sitting in the palm of your hand.

The Flight resembles Wisner's successful Pocket Field series but the design
has been simplified and is therefore easier and faster to use.
It features full movements, including axis and base tilts on the front, base tilt and swing at the rear.
There are three methods of focus: geared front focus and geared rear focus for normal use
and geared top-rear focus for when the camera is set up in it's wide angle configuration.

Bellows draw is an amazing 19" (480mm). 
At full extension the camera enjoys excellent rigidity comparable to or greater than other field cameras
and many monorails including Technicas, TK45's, Deardorffs, Wista, Sinar F series and so on.
You should be able to focus a 58mm lens with the standard bellows although untested by us.
If movements are required for lenses 90mm or wider the optional bag bellows is recommended.
Lens boards are standard 4x4" (same as Wisner 45 + 57 models).
The tripod socket accepts standard 1/4" screws.

Other than the Wide Angle bellows you will want a Ground Glass Protective Cover ($89.99 CDN)
and a lens board for $55.99 (CDN).
